Lorraine, 66, described her "favourite song of all time" – Careful by Horse McDonald – as a beacon of hope during her recovery. "Horse is the most extraordinary woman, she's got a voice," Lorraine passionately shared. "Anytime I've seen her live, it just goes right into your soul."

The accident, which Lorraine refrained from specifying, is believed to be the near-fatal horse-riding incident she faced in 2012. She once described this experience as a brush with death, crediting the "amazing" staff at St George's Hospital in south London for their life-saving care.

During a tribute marking the NHS's 70th anniversary, Lorraine was reunited with consultant Sarah Krishnanandan, who detailed the severity of her injuries – a deep wound to her thigh and significant blood loss.
