Khloé's Candid Confession

Following the release of Netflix’s "Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom," Khloé Kardashian is expressing some serious regrets about her involvement. The reality TV star shared her feelings on the latest episode of her podcast, "Khloé in Wonder Land," revealing that she participated in the documentary as a "favor" to her ex-husband, Lamar Odom.

While appearing in the documentary, Kardashian detailed her experience of taking care of Odom after his near-fatal overdose in 2015, even pausing their divorce proceedings to be there for him. But the post-release drama took a turn when Odom disputed her claims, crediting his recovery to divine intervention rather than Kardashian’s support.

“I think what’s pissing me off is, we did this, all good. I was done with this. I’m like, I’m never going to do another Lamar thing again, ’cause I’m all good. But now Lamar is doing press [and saying he’s] annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him.”

The Documentary Dilemma

Khloé revealed that it was Lamar and his team who originally asked her to take part in the documentary. She spent months contemplating before deciding to help out. "I said, ‘I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don’t really want to go down this road if it’s negative. He’s been through enough,'" she explained.

Encouraged by everyone around her, including Netflix, who said they couldn't "finish" the documentary without her, Khloé eventually agreed. "I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar. I’m not getting paid one penny to do this," she emphasized. "I have no dog in this fight. It doesn’t matter to me if this documentary is made or not made. I don’t care. And it’s also not something I really want to talk about anymore."

Feeling Played

Khloé's involvement was meant to be a supportive gesture for Odom, but it backfired. She explained her frustration over being portrayed as a liar: "All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to, like, play in my face and now to act like I didn’t do any of the things I did and insinuate I’m a liar is crazy. I feel played."

The reality star’s candid reflections reveal a deep well of frustration and disappointment, as she grapples with the public fallout from the documentary she once hoped would be a positive recounting of past events.
