While dazzling on the red carpet, Zendaya candidly described how relentless her schedule has been. "This is such a whirlwind and you’re in a new place every second and your brain is all over the place," she shared, highlighting the intense nature of juggling multiple high-profile projects. Despite the chaos, she remains grateful for the experiences, stating, "It’s fun and I’m grateful and I wouldn’t change a thing." However, she also noted the importance of taking a breather, admitting, "Sometimes you need to disappear for a little bit."

Zendaya's decision follows an extraordinary run of successes in 2026. Just in April, she starred opposite Robert Pattinson in A24’s “The Drama,” and made a powerful return as Rue Bennett in HBO’s “Euphoria.” This month, she embodies Athena in “The Odyssey” and will soon swing back as MJ alongside Tom Holland in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” To top it off, later this year, she will resume her role as Chani in the epic conclusion of Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Three.”

“I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit,” she quipped back in March, showing her playful side while foreshadowing her current plans.
