During a candid conversation on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast on February 11, the former "One Direction" star spilled the tea about the nature of their relationship, admitting he’s not sure if he was ever truly in love with Hadid.

“Maybe it was lust, maybe it was this, maybe it was that. I don’t feel like it was love. To be fair, just to have this on the record, I will always love G, because she is the reason my child is on this Earth and I have the utmost respect for her,”

Zayn revealed to Alex Cooper, the podcast host. Despite their 2015 love affair that officially ended in October 2021, the "Pillow Talk" singer maintains respect and love for Hadid as they co-parent their daughter, Khai.
