Mandy Moore, the ever-charming actress we all know and love, took a walk down memory lane as she dished about her youthful escapades on the set of the 2004 cult comedy, 'Saved!'. Speaking on the Shut Up Evan podcast this past Thursday (May 28), Mandy shared some amusing behind-the-scenes stories that you won't want to miss.

A Cocktail of Fun Times

During the filming in Vancouver, where the drinking age is 19, Mandy confessed to a bit of underage drinking. "I do remember a little bit of underage drinking," she admitted, reflecting on her 18-year-old self who had never experienced a traditional high school setting. "As it happened, I was like, ‘Look, I didn’t go to high school.’"

Mandy's co-star, Macaulay Culkin, the senior of the young cast, opened the door to the world of White Russians, a cocktail that quickly became a favorite.

“I was like, ‘Milk and alcohol? This is made for me,’” Mandy recounted. “‘I love this! This is like ice cream, this is fantastic!’”

Keeping it Light and Sweet

Despite the occasional cocktail, Mandy assured listeners that their off-camera antics were as wholesome as marshmallows. She fondly described tossing giant marshmallows off balconies as part of their innocent fun. "We were kids! We weren’t really getting up to no good," she reminisced.
