Khloé Slams Back at Critics

Khloé Kardashian is not having it! The reality queen came out swinging at the trolls on social media who dared to criticize her brother-in-law, Amari Thompson, for attending dance classes. Amari, who has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, became the subject of harsh comments when some asked, "How is this dance? Does he even know what's going on?" Khloé took to her Instagram Stories, calling out this "gross commentary" and setting the record straight.

“If you don't know or if you have never had someone with special needs in your life and you don't know what their interests are or what makes them happy, don't comment. And if you don't like this type of content, you don't have to watch it. We're all good over here.”

In her passionate defense, Khloé emphasized that people should refrain from commenting on matters they clearly don't understand. She posted several joyful clips of Amari in dance class, showcasing how these classes enrich his life.

Highlighting Amari's Joy

Khloé didn't stop at defending her brother-in-law; she wanted to spotlight the positivity of the dance academy. "I want to highlight such an amazing dance academy that does so much for special children," she shared. The footage shows Amari, radiantly smiling in his power wheelchair, being guided by dance instructors who spin him around with care and joy.

Khloé also shared a heartfelt moment captured in a photo with Amari and his dance teachers. "I'm so thankful for places like this and for human beings like this!" she captioned the snap. Amari's story isn't just about overcoming challenges; it's about the communities that support and uplift individuals with special needs.

A Family's Commitment

The responsibility of caring for Amari fell to Khloé after his mother, Andrea Thompson, passed away in January 2023. With Tristan Thompson frequently away for his NBA career, Khloé stepped up as Amari's main caregiver, ensuring he stays in Los Angeles with a dedicated care team.

Khloé is keen on creating a nurturing environment not only for Amari but for her own children, True and Tatum. She believes having Amari around is crucial for exposing her kids to diverse experiences and learning about empathy and understanding. "Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has," she remarked, highlighting the importance of specialized care.

Tristan Thompson's legal moves have also been in sync with the family's commitment. In September 2023, he filed for temporary guardianship to manage Amari’s affairs, ensuring the young man's life is as enriched and stable as possible. Despite their past, Khloé and Tristan show a united front in prioritizing Amari's wellbeing.
