"There’s this feeling that when I read a script, when I really love the character that is like, it’s not work-related. It’s almost as though they’re a real person to me," Cameron shares passionately.

Two years ago, while at the Met Gala in New York, fate dialed in with a call from Karyn Usher, the creator of "56 Days." Cameron recalls her early brush with heartbreak in Hollywood when she lost a lead role for a Fox show at age 14. Despite the setback, Usher's thoughtful gesture of sending flowers left a lasting impression. Now, years later, their paths have crossed again for this exciting series.

Complex Characters and A New Chapter

"It’s a show focused around four people that are varying degrees of being led by good intentions," Cameron explains, as she delves into the show's nuances. She loves exploring complex characters and believes that understanding them is a beautiful psychological exercise.

With her Disney days behind her, Dove embraces her new chapter. "I think that I’m able to finally play roles that I wanted to play when I was younger because I am more experienced," she says.
