Connor Storrie is proving he’s got a voice for every occasion in his debut teaser for 'Saturday Night Live'. The 26-year-old actor sits cheekily across from Marcello Hernández and Ashley Padilla in the clip when Hernández praises his Russian accent from the hit series 'Heated Rivalry'. A modest Storrie hints, "I actually do all kinds of accents," leading to a playful challenge from James Austin Johnson.
With Hernández and Padilla as enthusiastic referees, the stage is set for a hilarious accent duel. Storrie dives into a whirlwind tour of accents – from German and French to an over-the-top Shakespearean flair and even an ogre-like Shrek. Of course, he couldn’t leave out his stellar Russian accent, delivering a memorable line from 'Heated Rivalry': “When you get to hell, tell them Rozanov sent you.” The teaser concludes with Storrie humorously clinching victory as Johnson dramatically "dies" from his accent prowess.
“When you get to hell, tell them Rozanov sent you,” Storrie quips, marking his victory in the duel.
Fans are buzzing as Storrie prepares to host 'SNL' on February 28, alongside musical guests Mumford & Sons. His hosting role, announced last month, makes for an exciting addition to a trailblazing career that’s been on the rise since the launch of 'Heated Rivalry'. Storrie and co-star Hudson Williams have been in the spotlight, from carrying the Olympic torch to presenting at the Golden Globes.
Storrie is currently in discussions to join the A24 comedy 'Peaked', potentially marking his first major project after 'Heated Rivalry'. The series, beloved by fans for its unique take on a queer Canadian hockey universe, is getting a second season thanks to Crave and HBO Max. Meanwhile, author Rachel Reid is set to release the next installment in the book series that inspired it all, due in 2027.
