Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are giving us a sneak peek into their family life, and it’s anything but typical! Nestled in the heart of Australia, the couple and their three children – daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan – live a life surrounded by nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
"It feels like summer all year round where we live," Chris shared with People, emphasizing the sun-soaked bliss of their daily existence. Their home is a sprawling haven complete with a farm, horses, and endless adventures as their kids surf, fish, and ride motorbikes.
Elsa echoed her husband’s sentiments about their nature-immersed lifestyle, saying, "It’s just being able to enjoy nature." She described how city life feels alien to them now, with nature being an integral part of their day-to-day routine.
“When we go to a city, it’s hard for us as a family because we live outside, basically. We are in contact with nature all the time,” she explained. "It helps a lot, especially in the house with three kids."
This lifestyle not only grounds them but has been transformative for family dynamics.
Of course, their idyllic life hasn’t come without its fair share of challenges. Chris recently opened up on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast about the rocky patches in their marriage and how they’ve emerged stronger. "The complicated times have been when it’s been all work, all kids, and all of a sudden the ‘us’ in the relationship is sort of non-existent," he said.
Chris credits their resilience to spending quality time together while prioritizing fun and adventure. "Both having a sort of adventurous spirit, making time for one another," he noted as key to their enduring bond. Elsa, speaking to HELLO!, emphasized the importance of growth and curiosity, explaining, "You have to keep growing together, making sure your paths continue to cross."
It's clear that for Chris and Elsa, it's all about enjoying the little moments and keeping the spark alive, even amidst life's chaos.
